I love the internet!

Some of you may remember my tampon rant. I bitched about the insidious and intrusive marketing of them and how one day I had had enough.

As a proud owner of a new DivaCup, I have a near full box of tampons collecting dust. I'm also still maintaining an ongoing New Year's Resolution to only make gifts for people instead of buying stuff. So, this site www.tamponcrafts.com just may come in very handy for me.

Here's a sample from the site:

The Menstrual Militia is now recruiting! Arm yourself with a Tampon Shooter and report for target practice and tactical tampon maneuvers...

Is that cool or what?

Anyone have a birthday coming up? Get your orders in soon to avoid disappointment. ;-)

  3. Oh, what a fantastic website - I'm liking the halloween ghosts myself, and wonder how many accompanying adults would give my window decorations a second glance while their offspring are raiding my candy bowl? Wonderful!

PS, no birthday anytime soon, thanks (phew!)

  4. Now I don't really need a toupe, but if I did, I'd want a tampon toupe. After all, real men wear tampons.

  5. Tee hee. I just showed your photo to my preteen son who loves all things military and he was intrigued....until I told him what those were exactly. Then he couldn't get away fast enough.

  8. Ooooo, I'm so happy that people got a kick from this (well, except for Sarah's poor forever traumatised son, lol).

Neil... what can I say? I could make you a nice handle bar moustache if you like.

  9. We were leaving our beautiful home after many happy years and had a fancy dress party with the them of The End. I couldnae think of anything much to do, despite having come up with the theme so went as a period, which i believe is what North Americans call the punctuation mark at the end of a sentence (full stop). I was all in white, covered in red and dark purpley black patches with a few tampons stuck over me and made to look like they'd been used. I have pictures. They're a bit freaky.

Ahhh....thank you, Ms TB. I get so much shit off my chest and into a not too public domain on this blog.
