California poppies and moonies

The other day I was out photographing some California poppies. In the morning they have such a nice, curled up shape and then they open up as the sun gets higher. I just love them, they seem very happy to me.

I saw some poppies with various other wildflowers in a bend on the other side of the road and I thought it would make for a nice pic. While I was trying to take a photo, ten million cyclists streamed down the hill, interfering with my view. This road is a favourite of cycling clubs. I figured, just point the camera and take a few pics. I can crop the cyclists out.

Anyways... I was just looking at the photos. I was not surprised to get a few cyclists in my photos but what I was surprised by was the sheerness of this particular cyclist's shorts!

Puts a whole new spin on the term full moon cycle.

  3. Ha! Unlike Mog ;-) I am not being pervie!

Can you imagine wearing something without realising you're exposing your arse to the world?

I remember standing on a crowded bus, feeling something tickling my chin and I noticing that people were looking at me in a funny way. I was very embarrassed to realise that the tickling was caused by the tag on my t-shirt. Not only did I have my shirt on backwards but it was also on inside out, lol.

Fortunately for me that was before digital cameras and blogs... unfortunate timing for him though. ;-)

  4. White swimsuits are rather notorious for their transparency when wet.

As are old swimsuits where the lycra has rotted and so the arse covering fabric is rather thin.

Oh, and there was that unfortunate vacation where one of the group wore yellow swimshorts, oh, so not a good idea. Lunchbox vomitbox.....

  6. You went to so much trouble pretending to photograph the poppies as a cover for your pervy pics, so it's only right that I say how much I enjoyed the pretty California Poppies!
