Marnie, I almost don't recognize you, new header photo(I know the lake well), intriguing photograph (beautiful composition)and no funny faces(I loved those). Anyway nice job and have a wonderful weekend. Smiles
Like others, I assumed the roofs are in Britain. (England first choice, second - Wales.)
. . . which was good because it set me off further into your blog, trying to see where you are based.
I'm boring - I think I would like the picture even better if the cat got up and moved out of shot. There is a lovely stillness about the image which stands in its own right, whether the cat is there or no.
P.S. It's an interesting and alarming photo you have for your header. Lovely scenery. Fence about to tip over and down to the lake. (At first sight, I thought it was the back of a bench. That was even more alarming!)
Interesting roofs! And I like the old TV antenna. Don't see those much any more.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely, clear blue skies! And the perfect backdrop for the very interesting roofs! I love it!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day!

Love the roofs and chimneys!
ReplyDeleteNot really an observant bunch, are they?

Very interesting roof lines. Oh, I just saw the black cat! Nice little flower in the corner too, and of course gorgeous blue sky!
ReplyDeletethe rooftop is as beautiful as the sky.

ReplyDeletep.s. Oh my gosh, I missed the kitty. How clever you are!!!
ReplyDeletelol, is that an English roof and kitty?
ReplyDeleteVery nice sky looking over a roof top. Very nice job.
ReplyDeleteWonderful composition. I had to look again, but I found the cat.
ReplyDeleteIt pays to view this image larger. Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteNice sky, but wonderful roof, chimneys...& cat! I had to follow the advice of others before I saw the cat!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot.
ReplyDeleteMeow, meow, purrrrr.
ReplyDeleteI wanna know how that furball got up there. :-)

Those houses look so British! And the black cat looks very regal - surveying their territory for any furry interlopers!
ReplyDeleteI love the header photo btw.
