I don't have cable, I don't watch tv. When I'm in the mood to watch stuff, I watch a film or documentary or I surf the net, usually ending up on YouTube. The net is so much more interesting than tv to me as you just never know what you'll find!
Check out this YouTuber CONRADCIGARSPIPES! 6300 plus videos of him smoking a pipe! I love it! Not only is it truly and wonderfully interesting to me, the variety of music he plays to smoke to, is great! 6300 plus videos!!!
how can you call that anthropology? its just some old fart with a smoking fetish.... ffs woman you need to put on a dress and sit down and watch some little house on the prairie, you're out of control! dj
ReplyDeleteHaha! You are sooooooooooooo jealous! That's the beauty of anth! Anything attached to humans can be studied anthropologically. I'm quite certain there are scholarly articles written about old farts with pipe smoking fetishes in some anth journal somewhere already! My mark for an entire course was based on an essay I wrote about the importance of beer in human evolution... anthropology is ace! burp!
ReplyDelete6300 vids of smoking? I thought smoking kills?
ReplyDeleteI think I'll keep watching TV, I'm not sure I could cope with the excitement of 6300 vids of the old puffer!
I dig this mans style 6300 videos of pipe smoking is quite an accomplishment. I regard the act of smoking as an art form akin to that of the Japanese tea ceremony. The smoking ritual is a way to ground the soul in a routine involving various materials of personal significance. Amoung the common materials are the smoking pipe, your favorite tobacco, a tobacco tray, a grinder for breaking up the tobacco, humidors and most often accompanying music. The smoking ritual is also an oppurtunity to bond with others a tradition with its roots in every culture. It seems to me Conrad is aware of these ideas and practices them in his life, good for him I would like to smoke a bowl with this man.
