Scenery to die for.

These photos were taken last year at about this time in the Elmwood Cemetery in the town of Perth, Ontario where I lived for about a month. Where I live now, Vancouver Island BC, with its rain forest mix of evergreen trees, simply can not match the unique gorgeousness of these fall colours:

  1. Wow! The colors on the trees are simply amazing! You captured their autumnal beauty perfectly. I really love the second shot the best! Our trees here in the San Fran Bay area do not achieve such vivid colors...

  2. You are making me miss Boston even more. But, in a good way.

  3. I remember living in Tofino, waiting for all the leaves to change colour. They went from green to brown and kind of fell off in soggy defeat. So disappointing and not like the vibrant colours we get in the dry ranchlands of the Cariboo. Beautiful photos!

  5. What fantastic colours, I all the shots but the third one is my favourite, I love the contrast between the dark trunks and the golden leaves.

  6. Wow, those colors are fantastic. There are some trees that usually always turn a beautiful color and these must be those trees.

  9. Marnie, these photos are stunning. Autumn is the single thing I miss about Ontario....walking in the woods in the fall with a warm sun on your back and the crunch and smell of fall leaves is embedded in my soul.
Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos.
    Smiles and blessings
